今日は、お天気も良く長野県の小川にある農園にフルーツ狩りにきました。ピオーネ、りんご、梨そしてシャインマスカット。美味しいそうな物が取れました。 Fruit PickingーToday, the weather was fine and we went fruit picking at a farm in Ogawa, Nagano Prefecture. We picked peonies, apples, pears, and shine muscats. We were able to pick some delicious looking fruit. Written by Miki.

最高にいいお天気で長野県の上高地に行ってきました。トワサンクのアップルパイを買ってきたので食べてみます。相変わらず、りんごの食感を残しつつ程よい甘さでりんごが沢山入ってます。 We went to Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture with the most beautiful weather. I bought an apple pie from Trois Cinq and I’m going to try it. As usual, it has a lot of apples in it with just the right amount of sweetness while still retaining the texture of apples. 毎日、真夏のような暑さが続いていますが、そんな中歩いているとどこからか甘い柑橘系の匂いがほのかにして匂いの方に歩いていくと可愛らしいオレンジ色の花が咲いていました。 Fragrant Olive – It’s been hot like the middle of summer every day, but as I was walking, I smelled a sweet citrus smell coming from somewhere, and as I walked towards the smell, I saw a lovely orange flower blooming. 10月にしては、夏に戻ったみたいな暑さが続いていますが、花も蕾も綺麗なフヨウのピンクの花が咲いていました。 It’s been hot as if we’re back in summer for October, but the pink flowers of the Confederate Rose, with its beautiful flowers and buds, were in bloom. Written by Miki.

最近、気がつくと道端でよく見かけるので、調べてみるとヤブランと言うそうです。今、ちょうど紫の花？みたいなものが沢山見えます。 Bush Cranberry – I’ve been noticing them on the roadside a lot lately, so I looked them up and found out that they are called yaburan. What are these purple flowers? I can see a lot of them now. Written by Miki.

９月下旬になりました。お店を通りかかると強烈な目線、面白い帽子を見かけたのでつい写真を撮りました。 Hats– It was late September. As I walked by the store, I saw some interesting hats with strong eyes, so I took a picture of them. Written by Miki.

だんだんと朝、晩は過ごしやすい気温になってなんだか秋の気配を感じます。今日は、彼岸花が咲いていました。赤だけではなく白い色もあるみたいです。 Cluster Amaryllis (higanbana) – The temperature in the mornings and evenings is becoming more and more comfortable, and it feels like autumn.Today, higanbana was in bloom. 気がついたら9月中旬。何故かこの時期から年末まであっという間に時間が早送りしたかのように毎年過ぎ去ります。その中でも沢山の花々が咲いています。 Flowers– It’s mid-September. For some reason, from this time of year to the end of the year, time seems to fly by as if it were on fast forward. In the midst of all this, many flowers are blooming. Written by Miki.

日中は、まだ日差しが強い日がありますが、少しずつ秋が近まっている気配があります。毎年、玄関先や草むらでよく見かける可愛らしいピンク色の花が今年も咲いています。 Tick Trefoil– During the day, there are still days when the sun is shining strongly, but there are signs that autumn is gradually approaching.
